So why does this get a whole project page and description? A fair point. Similar to the point made here. This one gets a page simply because I carry it and have used it every day for a couple years, so it's one of the things I've made that has actually been tested to failure. I have it in my pocket right now. Also, I've had a lot of people ask about my design process, how many prototypes it takes to develop something, and the order in which I make decisions about form/function, and I still have some old versions and some of the old designs sitting around, so I figured I could include some info on that.
I'll start on the latter point. Form vs. Function. You'll probably find that I land more on the function side.
